Predation

This specimen is a snake that I found at the local Petco on Wilshire Boulevard.  Snakes are predators as they hunt other organisms for food including birds, mammals, fish, amphibians, reptiles, insects, and eggs. Predation is the action of one organism (the predator) hunting another organism (the prey) for food.
